SAFETY & PREPAREDNESS
- Monitor local weather radio for severe storm warnings and conditions.
- Keep an emergency kit ready with water, flashlights, and batteries.
- Secure outdoor patio furniture and loose debris before high wind events.
- Know the location of your main water shut-off valve for the community.
- In case of localized flooding, avoid driving through standing water.
- Be Fire-wise. Understand warnings, watches and prevention methods. It only takes one spark.Â
- See below for tips on mowing and yard work from a local fire department. This is a common cause for fire starts.

Fire Prevention Tips
While the graphic below highlights campfire safety, note the following from Hanson Harbor's CC&Rs and always follow Lake Roosevelt and Lincoln Co. burn restrictions:

4.13 Fire Hazard. Each Lot owner acknowledges and recognizes that at certain times of the year the HH #3 Property, Hanson Harbor #1 and #2 and surrounding public and private property can experience dry conditions which give rise to a fire hazard. Therefore, no Lot owner at such times shall build open fires or do, permit or allow anything which will create an unreasonable fire hazard.
