Architectural Controls
Our mission as a committee is to protect the values, views, and aesthetics of Hanson Harbor improvements.
In order to build a residence, garage or structure in Hanson Harbor, you must follow the building covenants for your division and plan accordingly to get approval from the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). This committee’s function is defined in items: #3.3, 3.5 and 3.6 in “Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions 1993 and will apply to both Division 1 and Division 3 decisions.
Structural Standards
Hanson Harbor maintains strict standards for new builds and renovations to ensure harmony with the natural environment. All structures must comply with WA state building codes and HOA specific setback requirements.
Architectural Guidelines
Good Neighbor Policy
The following Good Neighbor Guidelines and county requirements are intended to minimize disruptions, promote safety, and preserve the beauty of our community during construction activities.
Landscaping Rules
Protecting Wilbur's scenic beauty is a priority. Landscapes should favor native flora and drought and fire-resistant species. Clear-cutting is prohibited, and any significant tree removal requires professional assessment.
